Samsung is launching ChatON, a cross-platform mobile chat service similar to RIM’s BlackBerry BBM.
Do we really need so many cross-incompatible group messengers? How about agreeing on one standard and calling it a day. Oh well, at least they have agreed on killing the SMS. One step at a time I guess.
