Random Quote Of The Day

“The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.”
– Douglas Adams, “Mostly Harmless”

How sad is this?

A homeless guy with his PC (not Notebook!) literally living in a NYC Starbucks: linkie. Reading the first comments on that site, it looks like he has left… I hope it’s just an April 1st joke.

Update: For the two lj-people πŸ˜‰ reading this, I don’t get any notification about comments on the lj-site. But you could comment on my website, then I’ll see it… πŸ™‚

Staying in D…

I’m not in the mood for a drive-home this weekend. I’ll stay here over the weekend. My flat-mate is out of town, so it’ll be a really relaxing weekend. Not that it wouldn’t be with her around. πŸ™‚

I’m just waiting for a reply from the nice person, who got me this flat here. Haven’t heard from since almost a week…

Work-wise: I’m staying up in the crowded area, it’s just better with people around… πŸ™‚

I don’t know what the weather is like where you are, but since yesterday it looks like spring has arrived! My guess at todays’ temperature: at least 15° C.

To quote a colleague from today, eh, it’s yesterday already: “Von der Winterdepression ohne Umwege direkt in die Frühjahrsmüdigkeit”. πŸ˜‰ And that’s how I’m feeling the last few days: Totally tired, and I bet this morning won’t be better. So I better go to bed πŸ™‚ G’night everyone…

For the next two days (read: until end of cebit) I’m upstairs next to the studio. Everythings quite hectic up here, compared to the room I had one level below. I’ll see if I stay up here.

So half an hour to go, then go home and figure out what to eat… Keeping it rather short, so take care everyone.

It’s CeBIT time…

Well, yeah it’s already time for CeBIT 2005. My colleagues who work with me in the same channel have all left to Hannover. So I’m the one left in Düsseldorf who keeps our part of the Website alive.

It’s really fun at the moment. Very nice colleagues and all. Sometimes there’s not much to do, but now with the CeBIT there is always a little hurry involved, especially in the morning. Let’s see how it goes on until next wednesday/thursday…

Back to work. Take care everyone!
