“Dead Like Me”

Dead Like Me
“Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation begets disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C equals A, or whatever. I also don’t have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you’re screwed. Bad people are punished by society’s laws, and good people are punished by Murphy’s Law.” – Georgia Lass (Ellen Muth)

Just watched the first five or six episodes over the past two days again with a friend. She didn’t know the show before but from what I can tell, likes it too. This show still has some great lines and an interesting plot. Ordered the DVDs a few years back, when Season 1 just had finished. I cannot understand why SHO cancelled it…

“Whoever first said “It’s the journey, not the destination,” never took the bus. One meaning of the word ‘commute’ is ‘to shorten a prison sentence’. Commuting is a prison sentence. Freedoms are being systematically stripped away — your freedom of space, freedom of information, and freedom of smell. It would be enough to kill me if I weren’t already dead.” – Georgia Lass (Ellen Muth)

Now trying to catch up with The Sopranos, actually with the after-show blog posts…
