Waah!

While searching for some new podcasts I stumbled across Annik Rubens “Schlaflos in München”. This is my first official german podcast I’m subscribed to and it’s a really good one too. So give it a try if you’re into podcasts!

And while being there I saw the following picture: ugh

Shhhh, don’t say the p-word!: “Blog: Using the term ‘podcast’ is a big faux-pas in Redmond, according to a recent Seattle Post-Intelligencer story. Podcasting…”

Big and expensive cars…

Who thought that a McLaren Mercedes SLR was an expensive car, should have a look at these pictures we took today in the Düsseldorfer Medienhafen. 😉 20 million Euros in a very loooong car.

Movies are here: linkie. (XviD required)

Looks like the Vatican is shutdown, cell-phone-wise

According to Yahoo cell phone jammers/scramblers were installed for tomorrows start of election. Hmm, not trusting priests, well…
I still like Whiplash‘s idea turning the pope mobile into a pimp mobile 😉

Nothing new last week…

So, nothing that interesting happened last week. Well, except that thing on thursday evening. But I have to see it by myself before I decide whether I write about it or just decide to deny it ever happened 😉 You’ll probably see tomorrow.

Oh and on a Tech note: I searched for a sleek case for my notebook. If I had a PowerBook or iBook it wouldn’t have been a problem cause there’s like tons of it out there. But for a ThinkPad T41p you only get big business bags, where you could also bury your competition in. 😉 Right next to your notebook, of course.
Then I stumbled upon WaterField. They make their so-called SleeveCase in various sizes so that it fits perfect with whatever notebook you have. The only let-down are the shipping fees from SF to Germany 🙁 You don’t even want to think about it…

iPod One

CNN has an article about Dabbeljuh and his iPod.

Surprise, surprise: “No black artists, no gay artists, no world music, only one woman, no genre less than 25 years old, and no Beatles.”

Trouble waking up?

If yes, then the MIT guys might have a solution for you: Clocky.

If you tend to hit the sleep button on your clock, this one will roll away and “hide” somewhere. Then, when it rings the next time, you first have to get out of bed and locate it before you can shut it off again.
